Richard Bocking Riesling 2017 750ML

The Bottle: The Mosel is one of Germany's largest wine regions and one of its most prestigious. Known for its steep vineyards that slope down to the Mosel river, the area is home to the steepest vineyard in Europe.

The Producer: Dating back to the early 1600's, this winery was recently purchased by Denman Zirkle and daughter Sigrid Carroll, a direct descendant of Richard Böcking. The farming here is biodynamic and organic.

The Why:This organic riesling starts with a pretty bouquet of white flowers and candied orange. On the palate there is just a hint of sweetness that accompanies the gala apple and white peach fruit.
