Jameson Irish Whiskey 750ML

The Bottle: Unlike Scotch which uses strictly malted barley, Irish whiskey is made with a blend of malted and unmalted barley and is kiln dried, resulting in a whiskey that tastes like the grain from which its distilled.

The Producer: Established in 1810 when John Jameson and his son took ownership of the Bow Street Distillery in Dublin, Jameson has since become the best selling Irish whiskey in the world. The distillery now resides in Cork.

The Why:Light bodied, very smooth and clean with a touch of astringency on the finish. Notes of Marzipan, hops, baking cocoa and oak.
