The Producer: This family estate was founded in 1919 and is now run by Francesca Poggio, the third generation. They have just 3 hectares, farmed sustainably and planted to Cortese in sandy and clay soils.
The Why:This sustainably farmed white is medium-bodied and creamy, with notes of Bosc pear, melon and almonds. The finish has hints of wet stone and minerals. Drink as an aperitif, or with everything from creamy pasta to seafood.
