Feuerheed's Rosé Port NV 500ML

The Bottle: Rosé Port is popular in Portugal but rarely seen in the US. It is made just like a still Rosé at first, then fortified and aged in oak barrels. It makes a great aperitif, served chilled with savory appetizers.

The Producer: Feuerheerd’s was founded in 1815 by the German trader Dietrich Matthias Feuerheerd who established his business in the river city of Porto. They are known for their Ports but also make still wines.

The Why:This lovely little Rosé Port should be served chilled, either from the fridge or over ice. It has notes of sweet rose, wild brambly red fruit, and cooking spices. This wine will keep for weeks after being opened.
