Cousin Oscar Red NV 750ML



The Bottle: Carbonic Maceration is a winemaking technique, often used in the Beaujolais region, that involves fermenting whole clusters of grapes in a sealed container filled with carbon dioxide.

The Producer: Jean-Marie Rimbert has 20 hectares spread amongst 40 diverse parcels each with different soil compositions and expositions. His objective is to cultivate vineyards with the utmost respect for the environment.

The Why:This organic Cinsault was made using Carbonic Maceration to achieve a pleasantly fruity, easy-drinking and gulpable red. The wine is named after their cousin Oscar who is apparently irresistable to the ladies.
