Borell Diehl Muller Thurgau Trocken 2019 1L

The Bottle: Riesling is certainly king in Germany, but Muller Thurgau deserves a place at court as well. The 2nd most widely planted grape in the country, it was created by splicing Riesling with Madelaine Royale.

The Producer: The Borell winery has been producing wine since at least 1619. Their winery produces wines from every major grape grown in Germany, and some minor ones too.

The Why:A very crisp and refreshing wine, light on its feet, with some citrus pith, a floral note, and tons of minerality. A tongue tingling experience on its own and a great complement to lighter fare.
