Bodegas La Val, Rías Baixas Albariño 2018 750ML

The Bottle: Some believe that Albarino is a relative of Riesling and that pilgrims from Germany brought the grape to Rias Baixas on the El Camino de Santiago de Compostela which ends in the region.

The Producer: Bodegas La Val was established in 1985 and was one of the first wineries in Rias Baixas. Unlike other wineries in the area, La Val produces it's wines soley from their estate grown grapes.

The Why:This Albarino is bright and dry, with refreshing floral notes along with citrus and green pear. A fantastic seafood wine, with great minerality and racy acidity.
